Signing Up for a Free Trial
One of the best ways to see if Resource Guru could be for you is to sign up for a free 30 day trial (no credit card required). You can create as many free trials or join as many accounts as you like with the same Resource Guru ID (your login details). So, go ahead and give it a try!
Switching between your Demo Environment and Your Workspace
When you start your trial, you’ll see a bar at the top of Resource Guru that lets you switch between My Workspace (your real account) and a Demo Environment.
The demo environment is a fully set-up workspace with realistic sample data — including people, projects, bookings, reports, and more. It’s designed to help you quickly explore how everything works together and experience the full value of Resource Guru without needing to set everything up yourself.
You can use it as a safe “sandbox” to:
Try out features
Explore workflows
Test changes without affecting your real data
To make sure your own work is saved, always switch back to My Workspace before making changes to your actual schedule.
Please note that any data you add or edit in the demo environment stays there and can’t be transferred to your main workspace.
